im looking for the lower...5thgen civic. you cant replace the joint in the upper so i have no options there!

 

Mike I have to kinda make sure everything is going to stay together when I DO put brakes on it!...Unlike your car which is financed by Lucifer i have to do one thing at a time!lol

 

what car do you have and what brakes do you have right now and what brakes do you plan on upgrading to? If you plan on using a fastbrakes kit some of them you need to replace the hubs so youd be using a different ball joint than what is currently on the car if youre using the aem kit then just forget what I said.

...94 civic coupe. Im just lookin put GSR brakes and some steel lines on it! Pretty sure i retain much of the civic suspension other than the spindle.

 

if you are putting gsr brakes on and doing it soon dont worry about the ball joints theyre connected to the gsr spindles. You do know the front gsr brakes are the same as the civic ex and the teg lsrs gs and del sol vtec thats just an FYI in case you have a civic EX. As far as the rear disc goes theyre the same as the civic 4 door ex the del sols with rear discs and all the tegs except the type r. So dont pay any more money if somebody is selling GSR brakes compared to any of the above.

Hey thanx Rob! ive got a DX...for now. Should i just get the rear discs from a 4dr or EX and upgrade those? Im lookin to make it a fun reliable and good lookin street car and not overly concerned with speed as much as making it a complete car.
