i was at a delership and they want 1500 down and 4500 tax tag title it was driven by a old timer is that a good price and is it safe to throw on a turbonetics t3/t4 hybrid turbo kit on the stock motor and tranny?

The motor will be fine as long as the compression & bearings are good. Tuning is another important factor.
