Default battery keeps dieing----why?

Hey guyz. I just got back from a 2 month break and b4 i left my car would turn on and turn off no prob. When i tried to turn my car on it wouldnt even drank. I charged it up and connected it again and then the car started no prob. when i turn off my car and come back like in 10 min it will turn on no prob but when its off for like a hour and i go to start it, it cranks like once or twice then start to click. I took it to advanced and they said it seemed fine and that the alternator was okay. This happen to anyone? What should i do just replace the battery?
any input is appreciated.
thanx
chris

alternator or a bad connection would be my first guess.maybe it is getting enough currency back to the alternator to charge the battery.check your wires

it could be a bad cell in the battery and that could cause it to be ok for a lil bit after charging but long periods of time sitting with the car off such as over nite or during work could cause it to die again...check your connection 1st if there is no connection problems replace the battery...if problem still occurs its most likely your alternator

also check all your grounds, i've heard that could also drain it.

yeah it happens to me..
the alternator become dirty and sometimes it charged and sometimes no.
so when i bring it to the mechanic to check they say its charging,
but when i go back i suggest to pull out the alternator and then we see its so dirty then a little cleaning fix the problem..

start your car, and while it's running, remove your negative battery cable. If the car dies, your alternator is shot. if it keeps running, your battery is shot.
