ok first off its a 1990 ef hatch with a mini me swap everything is multi point and obd1 by my self it ran before but rings went bad i swapped the pistons and now i had to replace the alternator i did that jumped started the car and let the car run with the jumper cables on for ten min then i took them off and let the car run for twenty min no problem
i started messing wit the idle and when i ease the gas it goes to redline but when i give it full throttle car wants to die so the car turned off and when to start it again and it didnt even try to click anything over i just have to jump start again what could this be thanks

 

start the car unhook the + battery cable if it dies its the alternater. if it stays running its probably the battery.
