Default I think someone put my BOV on backwards...

Hell nahhh!!!!! It got ur attention tho lol...but check this out.....

As I look through these posts everyday, every other post is something about someone having a problem with some turbo setup. I notice that every once in awhile someone is having a hard time with a legitimate problem, but for the most part I see a bunch of questions people should know the answer to if they are going to turbo the car. how do i turn the boost up? what controls the boost? do i have to run a bov? can i turbo my car on stock injectors? how do i install a boost gauge? how do i install my bov? Etc, etc... the people who are answering these questions know the answer because they researched and read. if after you do that and you still don't understand how to do it, don't freakin touch the car anymore, pay someone to do it instead of blowing shit up and complaining about it. if you can't afford to go turbo, don't. save your money for something cheap. Cuz turbo and cheap don't go in the same sentence unless you are saying, "Turbo is not cheap." Saving money on parts when you go turbo only cost 3x more in the long run.

That is all. Lol....good morning TR.

yeah, but the search feature is only as effective as the material that goes into it. And unless the search feature is "enforced" via closing/deleting repetitive/stupid/noob multiple post threads, searching will turn up bunches of threads with garbage info that we'll have to sift thru.

And as we all know, noob's are impatient. They'd rather spend 10 mins posting a thread "yo wut iz da best turbo fo my d16 an kin it be got for a grand?" because they have to type it exactly as ignorantly as they speak, vs. spending 5 mins to search.

LOL

yeah, searching is more time effective and you will probably get 5 posts of wrong info before you get anything usable

I do understand but, as it was said above. Sometimes when you search you find soo much bullshit that people say bc they also dont know what they are talking about that it is easier to ask. I personally started useing this site when I was clueless to Honda's and I thought rice was cool. Iv learned alot since then. Soe from searching some from asking BUT, most of it from hands on.
EX. I just split my first tranny about a month ago. I put LS 5th gear in a GSR tranny & I learned how to do it on here & HondaSwap Forums by searching and asking a few questions. I did speak to a few people on here that tried to tell me that it is impossible to put LS 5th in a GSR tranny but, that just proves the point that sometime alot of bull shit is said on here bc people dont know what they are talking about.
Another thing Iv found searching is their is a few post that say you cant do LS/VTEC with stock ls pistons bc they will have clearance issues. This is incorrect. So in short sometimes the search feature gives false info but, they should use it to get a general idea of what to expect.

yea i agree, what i mean is, search and read first, ask later.....after you have some kind of knowledge base so you aren't asking stupid questions.
