I'm coming from the sidelines on this one, but seriously, before you believe one damn thing you hear from Jamil, or anyone still associated with Brotherz Racing for that matter, do your research. Read up on here and you will see just the type of people that are running brotherz racing, and the type of shop it is. Read up on all the lies and controversy associated with that shop. And the reasons their employees all came to their senses and finally walked. That shop is a joke. I lost all respect for them once I heard of all the things going on at that shop, and I find it truly amazing they are even still in business. I am friends of John Vega and Alpha both, and I have tried to stay on the sidelines for this one, but I think it has gone too far. I understand you asked Vega to post this thread BASED ON THE INFORMATION HE WAS GIVEN (likely by yourself). But what you know, or THINK you know, could be the furthest from the truth. Alpha has admitted to lying to customers about the software they were actually tuned on to offer them better peace of mind due to known faults with the Crome software, and he was wrong for that. BUT, I can tell you first hand that Alpha is a great, stand up guy, as you see by him having the balls to man up to his faults. Were all humans. Humans make mistakes. But it takes a real man to confess to his wrong doings. Aside from what he has admitted, I have yet to see any further proof of these allegations that he has been tuning on an illegal (pirated, stolen, expired, or otherwise) version of the eCtune software. So what I reccomend to everyone here, is before you go making any false accusations, thus making your SELF guilty of SLANDER and DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER, please do your research, gather evidence to back your claims, and THEN say what needs to be said. To be quite honest, to anyone like myself having any knowledge of the laws, as of right now this is all hear say, and you have absolutely DICK.

Now let it be known, Alpha and Vega are both good friends of mine, who have both gone out of their way for me numerous times and always been there to help me out, so I dont wanna hear anyone saying Im bias for any reason. I am just looking at things not only from a logical standpoint, but also from a LEGAL standpoint. I appologize if I have offended anyone, but I just felt things had gotten to a point where my input was warranted.

Heres the problem. Nobody knows SHIT!!!!!! Its all hear say, and no one has YET to prove anything, or substantiate any claims by providing either hard evidence, or first hand testimony from these alleged victims.

Calvin posted some emails. Now, of course they can be altered, but for the benefit of the doubt I'll assume they haven't been.

In this tech world, emails are getting to be held more and more as factual evidence. I have to deal with it every day at work.....gotta watch what you say in corporate email settings, on the internet, etc.

I'm going to go eCtune, but I don't know who I'm going to go with to have it tuned yet. It's gonna be a lil while.

 

I agree, but so far the only thing he has admitted to is tuning cars on crome, but telling the customer it was ectune to offer them peace of mind.

He has not admitted to any fraudulent use of the actual ectune software.

if you watch carefully he denied having eCtune to me.. but calls john vega ask him if he has problems with eCtune. His ostrich is not working with eCtune anymore. Why doesn't he post on the correct forum. If john calls him back he doesn't know what version he is running. After that whole things is going on he asked support from Craig moates and stating he is using eCtune?

Maybe he bought eCtune PRO(single car) under a false name and is doing something so he can tune multiple cars. If he never send that email stating he is using eCtune it would be a whole different story....

Maybe if i meet him one day. I'll see what kind of guy he is...
But business is business, fooling cusomter is something bad.

This could have easy been solved by producing a list and paying for those license and say sorry.

 

Maybe you should arrange to meet him so the 2 of you can discuss things like men and come to some sort of resolve. Until that happens, I dont think you will ever get past all this third party he said she said BS. Im sure there is a lot more to this, and a lot of things that have been miscommunicated or misunderstood, that will only be made clear with direct communication between the 2 of you.

I advertised hondata tuning in my signature for customer's which had the s200 interface box. I did in fact have access to the romeditor. Legally!

Vega, I honestly don't care to be in the mix...if Alpha was pirating software then let calvin come on here and make a scene. IF alpha was tuning cars with crome and charging people for ectune....let those people come on here and make a scene. Otherwise, really all you are trying to do is make a scene about some of your competition.

In response to your Hondata stuff.....how did you have a rom editor license legally w/o a Hondata box? Much less, how were you tuning Hondata's for other people w/o the dealer kit?

The question of whether or not Alpha tuned the cars w/o your permission or license purchasing is not what I want to discuss. Hopefully you will get that resolved. I am only suggesting that you think about whom you have make a post about it. Vega, I am shocked that you see no issue with your post. Not only is this your life...tuning cars is all you have....you are a moderator on this site. You can edit, delete, lock, etc of this thread. You are not unbiased, two sided mediator. I think that if you are going to keep posting things that directly impact your tuning business in this forum, you need to give up your right as moderator. I have known you for a while now and can't believe you still stoop to measures like these. You have a good thing going, seriously don't head off in the wrong direction as a business shark.
