ok I read that if i re route the coolant hose threw my throttle body I get colder air going in seing as its just there for nothern cars so the throtle body dont freeze up in the cold.
In any case I was looking at itand there are too hoses that go in to the throtle body (by the way my car is a 99 civic DX with EX motor swap) and the throtle body is pointed up one hose is above the other.
1st question: what should i use to plug the holes after diconnecting the hoses?
2nd question when re routing is it the bottom one that I have to direct?

dont even bother it wont do jack shit. If you reroute the coolant hoses to bypass the TB the TB is still going to be heated by the intake manifold and heat soak. Its a waste of time.
By the way what year motor is in the car? I cant think of EX motors off hand that have a downdraft TB instead of a sidedraft.
