Highest safe or the highest usable without de-tuning ?

You could de-tune a 12:5:1 motor on 93 oct and not have any detonation issues, however the motor will be screaming for better fuel then 93 oct.

If your looking for a good all around compression ratio for a 93 oct bseries setup I would recommend 11.5:1-12.0:1 with an 81-82mm bore

i did myne at 11.0:1. u could get away with higher. if you want to be safe....11:5:1 at max on pump gas will keep you from de tuning.

De-tune would be retarding the ignition timing to compensate for the compression ratio & fuel octane mixture, otherwise you would run into detonation issues.

Stock injectors are only good till around 195-200 whp along with the stock fuel pump.
I have seen stock fuel pumps give up at 195 whp on older eg hatches.
I would recommend a set of 310cc injectors along with a walbro in-tank fuel pump for the 1.8L ls/vtec you are looking to build.

That is not possible on one tune, you would need two separate tunes using dual mapping. One on 93 and one on the higher octane fuel. You would want to use the same exact fuel every time on the higher octane fuel as different fuels have different properties.

Hondata s100, s200, s300, Neptune, eCtune all handle dual mapping.
370cc injectors will work just great for the setup.
