i want to see what everyone thinks... ls block with type R pistons , with the stock ls rods and crank, and to top it off with a b16 head, with type R cams...? yay nay??

id get p30 jdm b16 pistons..

+1^ and get the type R cams of the year 2000 and up. they are the same as the civic type R the best oem cam you can get for all motor applications. it will yeild the highest lift than the other oem b series cams. may have better duration too....
also get your ARP rod bolts and head studs for a form of inexpensive insurance. if motor is not assembled yet get a fresh hone to assure roundness of the cylinders also you can get the crank side (the small end) of the rconnecting rods resized to assure roundness also.

Well you could get aftermarket pistons and rods. depends on what your budget is and you power goals..

also forgot to mention you should look into micropolishing the crank to get it all smooth and scuff free....

if you want real insurence get one of this also i try to tell all i build lsvtecs for to use them i have a couple if you want to buy one..but your build soubds simple and you will be happy with it
