obd2 to obd 1 distributor quesiton

Default obd2 to obd 1 distributor quesiton

If i get a conversion harness for obd2 to obd1, and i need to get a new complete distributor, what type should i be looking for, one that is for an obd1? thanks guys

hey i just put and obd1 lsvtec in to my 2000 honda civic which is obd2. i used the obd2 harness and ecu to wirein the sensorsand shit and to control the injectors as far as the ignition i got a msd blaster ss coil pack and a msd distributor those wired in .if you use a obd1 ecu you need a jumper harnes so your best bet ie cheaper is just use the obd2

i didn t do the wiring i had a shop do it b/c i suck at wiring but thats what i used

mine is running greatand by using the obd2 ecu it allows me to use my vafc

i'm not swapping nethiong...i have a 2000 gsr, but converting my ecu from obd 2 to obd 1...but i need a new distributor and i was alittle confused on what i should be looking for cause my distributor is bad.

well if you are converting thewhole system ..... idont know why you would want to do that but okay . then you have to buy everything jumper harness obd1 ecu and an ignition sytem

you don't need to replaced the distributor i have the same setup im running obd2 distributor
