some car problems
i have a 95 ls teg the problem is its idiling at 1500 could this be due to the cold also my power sterring is leaking how whould i fix that/ how much whould it cost to get it fixed.

where is you p/s leaking from the pump the hoses or the rack . hoses are cheap pump relatively cheap 100-200 dollars rack thats some money ...if you need some one to look at it just let me know and the idle prob could be a vac leak or a bd sensor or could just need to adjust the throttle body .

Small cars don't need power steering. I removed mine years ago
and installed a light weight aluminum blockoff plate to keep dirt out of the rack.
If it leaks from where the hoses connect to the rack, that can be fixed if you want to keep the p/s. You might wash off the motor to see specifically where the leak is and let us know.-Bob
