Ive got a 98 Honda civic and it ran out of wiper fluid the other day. How do I fill it back up? I checked the trunk but couldnt find the fluid container. Also can I use dishwashing liquid instead of buying new fluid? Thanks in advance for the help...

You dont know either eh? Damn how am I supposed to drive around without any wiper fluid. I hope the car doesnt overheat. Tomorrow Im just going to pull off all the container caps under the hood and put dishwashing liquid in them. One of them is bound to work...

no no no...Bill you cant substitute with dish washing fluid...but Ive used clorox bleach and it worked out ok. And the fluid container is in the little tray that slides out under your stereo. Dont be fooled it MAY look like an ash tray but it is not.

Well I filled up all the containers under the hood with wiper fluid (went out and bought some) and I filled the ashtray and glove box with fluid just in case RicerX was right. Finally now my windshield is clean although my car seems to be running very wierd. Probably gained some hp from the fluid mod so Im just not used to all that power.
