i had the same problem once and all it was was i forgot to hook up the thermostat ground so check that it might be it

where does it connect at the thermostat and where else.

also check ground on the starter.

it connects to the thermostat housing with a 10mm bolt there should be asmall ground wire coming out of your harness right in that area lmk if that helps matt
