Default People with guages... need help.

Anyone that has installed guages (electrical or mechanical), I got a couple of questions. I got a oil pressure and a water temperature gauges, both are electrical. Where do you put the sending unit for the water temperature at? I heard it is on the back of the head (B16a1) where there is a already plugged hole... is this right? If so, what is the exact size and where can I pick up the meteric fitting adapter for this?
Kinda the same thing for the oil pressure. I heard that it is located next to the oil filter, is this right as well? If so what is the size for the meteric adapter and where can I get this as well? Any help would be much appereceated.

Another thought...you could just tap into your cooling hard line on the back of the block for the water temp!

Did you do that? How acurate is that? My factory temp guage in my cluster goes stright to the H (hot) as soon as I turn on the car. Thats one reason why I am hooking up guages.
