get rid of the motor ls vtec sucks, they are unreiliable, and dont make much more power if any than a type r or gsr... and if they are so good why didnt honda make them.... lsvtecs have so many problems if the person who build it didnt do it right... and most of the time they didnt

Ls-vtec motors are just like any other motor that is custom built.
If the assembly is poor, it will be unreliable & fail..

1. Resolve all of your check engine lights.
2. Fix all of your wiring issues as described above.
3. Vtec should work, if it doesn't check your oil pressure.
4. If your still having an issue take the car to a real shop.

Listen to mtber and disregard furball.

You have to wonder about someone who tells you to get rid of your motor when you ask a question about vtec wiring.

Sounds like his girl ran off with a guy running an LS/VTEC - and he probably couldn't catch up with them, either.
