b18c1 oil pump question
the first pic is of the 94 gsr oil pump.
2nd pic is supposed 2 b from a 01 gsr.
the housing 2 block fits the same , but the outside is no doubt different. the timing belt cover does not fit now with the "01" pump on.
isnt the 01 pump supposed 2 have a 2 wire plug of sum sort ? AM I GONNA HAVE A PROBLEM USING THIS "01" GSR PUMP LMK ASAP PLEEZ

the one on the bottom is obd2 thats why you will need to buy another bottom half covers they are like 38bucks new honda...and i would stick with useing the obd2 it is alittle better and you will not have any problems useing it

I use the obd1 cover and trim it to fit the obd2 pump. Done this plenty of times. All timing marks are still lined up.
All you have to trim is a little on the bottom.
