Replacing alternator belt...?
-1995 Integra SE-
Mine just shot on me, needs to be replaced. Already picked up the belt, but looked at the assembly, and those damn Japanese made this one a bitch.
I really don't see a lot of room to work with here to replace the belt. It looks like you have to take the front driver's wheel off, and get the ac and water pump pulleys off in order to replace it.
Anyone good at this and have any ideas? Need to have it done before Sunday if possibly, all I've got is some jack stands, jacks, and ramps. Tried looking on google, maybe I'll just go pick up a Chiltons. LMK if anyone has any advice on the easiest way to tackle this.

The bad news is........1.A/C belt usually 2.Water pump belt comes off next, if possible by loosening the adjuster,
however, on some cars adjuster is spring loaded, and inside the timing belt cover, which requires removal of the crank pulley, and sometimes an air impact to do so, and sometimes front tire removal, in order to get the timing belt cover off.

there should be three spots on the crank pulley for different belts.
looking from the smallest to largest size:
1.ac belt. smallest
2.powersteering belt. middle
3.aternater belt. largest.
there is absolutly no reason to mess with the "water pump belt."
take off the power steering belt and ac belt, by adjusting the tensioners.
to adjust the alternater there is a bolt on the inside of the top braket that holds the aternater tight. losen that and pry the alternater towards the front of the car. put the new belt on, and tighten back up. make sure there is about 1/2" of slack in the belt. and then re-install the other belts. its really easy.

wouldnt the water pump belt be the timing belt? its not hard to do. i had to do it on my 99 integra a few days ago.. might take 30 mins or so, pull the wheel, it makes it alot easier.. then just pull off the plastic lining in the way. its just little clips then its all right there, visible

exactly, there isn't any reason to touch the timing belt cover let alone the belt itself.
