drive by wire

anyone care to explain how this works.. pros and cons ect.

drive by wire is a system in which your throttle is controlled through a n electrical current as opposed to the standard cable, its pros are decent throttle response, and never having to adjust the throttle cable, cons are IMHO that it doesn't feedback the way a cable throttle does, you lose the sense of position on the throttle when it is drive by wire.

Some drive by wire works slow. Drive a sentra seR and you will see what i mean. Even the new civic si's feel like they have bad rpm hang.

Yes and if the motor on the throttle body ever fucks up, u go no where but to dealer to have it replaced... Sucks.
