Its A 90 Integra Ls. Just Swapped Motors. Dropped In Another B18a Started Car Just Fine. Re Set The Timing ,Now Im Not Getting Any Fuel Pressure At All. Please Help.

 

So I take it u dont heasr the fuel pump priming either? Setting timing has nothin to do with fuel pressure,are u throwing any CEL's?

 

I dont hear the pump priming. I know about the timing thing thats why im so lost. What do you mean about throwing CEL's. ?codes?

 

any check engine lights? How do you know you have no fuel pressure? Look for leaks, check and make sure the gas cap is tight that will cause low if no fuel pressure. Make sure your fuel filter isnt from 1895. lol. Stuff like that and let us know meng.

 

i have a fuel pressure gauge by my fuel rail. i will put a new fuel filter in and check my lines asap. thanks for the feed back. but even if it was my fuel filter or my lines or the gas cap shouldnt i still hear my fuel pump??????

 

The real test is whether fuel SPURTS at the engine end, or trickles
or flows not at all; not whether you hear the pump.............as he says, it's not related to timing.

If you heard the pump before, but not now, have you checked
the fuses?-Bob

 

Well wether the pump is priming it doesn't necessarily mean its getting to the engine. If the filter is clogged? If there is a bent line? Which is way out of this world. One thing to try is hold the fuel rail like 3 inches away from the intake manifold and prime it see if any fuel comes out. Are you sure its a fuel related problem? Cuz if you have shit for compression the car wont start, if you dont have the a/f fuel proper mixture obviously. Ummm a lot of different factors meng. The way to go about diagnosing something car related is decide is it electrical? mechanical? or hydraulic? Then down size from there. lemme know what you find
