I bought an In-Dash. I install it.. work perfect, I get out of my car I realize the lights are out. I checked the fuses, one of them is blown. I replaced it. blew again. So I thought it'd be the electrical. I try and pull the in-dash out.. but it's stuck. I was annoyed so I punched my windshield and cracked it.

This is all because I was lazy and did not tape one wire.

 

Did you use a dash kit? Im assuming you did. Just grab ahold of it and yank that thing out of there. When you say it is stuck, are you using the keys that should have come with the radio to remove it? If you are afraid of breaking something just go to a stereo shop and see if someone can get it loose for you. If you came to my shop i would do it for free, just cause it should only take a few seconds. However most shops will want you to pay.

 

Well now you potentally have to pay for a new windshield,and to get your radio out.all could've been avoilded with a under 20$ kit from walmart/pepboys/autozone.

Haha, well it was not a kit. I just flipped the stock center console. Everything is fixed. Windshield is getting replaced tomorrow. It had a small crack in it anyways and needed new weather stripping.

 

LoL you sound like my dad. He gets mad bc a bolt breaks off & then he smacks the car with the ratchet... Now not ony the original problem but another.
