Default ls eagle rods torque specs and how much hp?

Hi guys I bought a set of ls eagle rods a while ago but I don't know the torque specs for it .I found this on the net http://www.theoldone.com/articles/en...ata_sheet.html
but the is for 5/16 bolts mines are 3/8 2000 rods bolts I believe ( stupid question how you know is 5/16 or 3/8 ? cause mines the bolt head is 3/8 but the bolt thickness is 5/16 wich one is the right one .How much hp this rods will hold? and last how much ERL charge for a semi solid deck b18a sleeved , I am thinking about $1200 but not sure I went to their site and I did'nt found a list of prices. Any help will be really appreicitted. Thanks........Omar

i hear those eagles are pretty safe up to about 600-700s horsepower ranges, as far as the torque specs go, i would say those are infact the same rods you have, The easiest way to know what size you have is to go to home depot and measure the nut that came with your rods, they have guages in the hardware department, I would go with that torque specification because thats what my eagles torque spec is. i have the same set and i plan on using them in build. I was told by a real reliable source that he has had them in a car makin over 600 at the wheels and those eagles did just fine, infact they are still going. I really wouldnt worry about this unless u plan on hitting over 6-700 hp.

As far as the block question... do you have a block already? if you plan on getting a block sleeved you would need the pistons you wish to run in that block first, that way they can final bore the block...
1200 is about right for any company who does sleeving both darton and golden eagles both run at that cost... pm blown99civicsi, he can most likely answer any questions you have and get u what you need.

If you are planning on making alot of power and revving past 8k rpm get rid of the eagles with the 5/16ths bolts and buy a set of the 3/8's or just buy a better rod. The bolt torque for the 5/16 bolt (3/8" head) is 28 ft-lbs.

as long as its the eagles with the arp2000 3/8 bolt..they are fine. We made over 700 with them. Im using manleys on my current motor over 750+ 10k rpm

It is always the shank ( the threaded/smooth portion of the bolt that determines the size. Forget what size wrench fits the head. You have a 5/16ths bolt.
