I just got a 91' EDM VT CRX Cluster for my 89' CRX.

Anyone know a site that has a wiring diagram or instructions to get this to work in my CRX? I already have a dash from a 91', so I have the correct housing.

Well. After searching for a couple hours on the net. Nobody has a working way to get this into a 88-89' CRX. Being an engineer, I decided to tackle this myself and figure out the wiring. After about 3 hours, it is in and everything works perfectly. I am going to be doing a writeup in the future on how to do this and what is needed. Love the cluster, having 9500RPM redline and a 155mph speedo is sweet in a CRX.

Looks nice man. Good job. How hard was it?

 

Not too bad had to repin both the wiring harnesses. The hard part was just figuring out what the wiring was on the VT cluster. Had to move some wires from the 8pin harness to the 12 pin and visa versa.
