alright im getting irritated with this dam thing.... my brake lights on my REX will not turn off even when the car is turned off and when all the fuses are pulled out i looked at the switch on the brake pedal does not seem to have any spring problems... the lights should have come off when i pulled the fuses ... has anyone run into this difficulty before..... did you have wiring problems, shorts? any info will be helpful thanks...

 

unplug the brake switch, if the lights go off, bad swich

 

that or a short to ground or a bad mcu ive seen this before with brake lights staying on when the car is off. Rare I think but best thing to do is check the switch first most likely problem. Known problem.

Did you check if the rubber stopper was still there?

 

i figured it out lol it was the switch the switch isnt bad it was a dam screw on the switch it was loose so when the brakes were not pressed it wasnt pushing the switch far enough in to turn the lights off....... thanks for the help brothers .....
