Ok my car has been out of commision for 3 weeks now. I do not pride myself as a mechanic, so I need someone to do the work for me. I have the money and have called around to just about every shop in tampa and either got answering machines, excuses or even put on the schedule to come on only to be told they are full 3 days later and telling me to call back in march!!! So my question is does anyone know of any shop/person that is willing to come out to my house and fix my car. If you want to figure out whats wrong with it from the little I know read my old thread its not very far back down the list in this forum.

 

Where do you live? We're normally not mobile mechanics, but we'll normally help someone out if they're in need.

Yyes exactly that one... Thank you so much.. I really need this car fixed, I am in high school and I can't get to school, and if I miss anymore days then I'm probably gonna get kicked out, so the sooner the better. Also would you rather me call Jay or wait for someone to contact me?

 

Were you the one that called Jay? Someone called, but they said they were bringing the car to the shop tomorrow...and you said you needed us to come out there.

Yeah that was me that said they were bringing to the shop tomorrow but on a tow truck. The only reason I said that it needed to be here was becuase I am kind of strapped for cash for a tow because all of my money needs to go into the repair, but I also realized that it would be a huge burden for anyone to have to come out here to fix it and they might not be able to do it outside the shop.

Well I wont exactly be at the shop at the time it is dropped off, seeing I have school tomorrow, so I will leave the keys with the tow truck driver. I may come by tomorrow after school or maybe wednesday with a friend, just to see how things are coming along. The driver said he would be at my house to pick it up at around 9 or 9:30 so depending on the traffic and everything he should be there 9:30 at the earliest to anywhere around 10:30. Is that cool?

 

That's perfectly fine. You can tell him that the shop is located behind Showgirls @ Starkey and Ulmerton. It's the next lot behind Showgirls. It looks like a wharehouse...says Janky Productions on the door. There's 4 shops @ the building. ...our shop is the white one.
