Turbo Or Supercharger????
 

The question i have is....what is better hands down... a turbo kit or a supercharger, and what is the best one to put on a fully built b18A1??

depends on what your definition of best is. if best is highest hp for 1/4 mile...turbo. if best is for a car that will be in lower gears alot, taking turns and low rpms...supercharger. if best is a good amount of hp without a total loss of fuel economy ( a well rounded car)....sc. if best is........ I could go on, too many different applications out there to say one is the best. Is a 500hp motor the best??? well when your in stop and go traffic and the car is spinning tires through 3rd gear and has to get up to 40mph before it gets full traction, then by the time you get to use all 500hp then your at the next light and the 10th grader in the cavy next you is wondering what took you so long.

so for a good quarter mile and top speeds... a turbo would be the best choice....then what size turbo would i need for my setup...would a t3 t4 be too small on a fully built b18a1 motor, the mods of my setup are in My TRGarage
