Hey guys, I've been postin on TR for a while, just in the ford forum mostly. I plan on buying a 99 GSR as a DD. It has Toda Spec C cams Toda valves, and valve train, a ECU not sure what kind, a DC 4-2-1 header, a Tanabe Super medallion catback, test pipe, a JG Edelbrock Intake, Iceman Cold Air, a SI tranny w/ Qauife LSD, and I was wondering how well this would work as a dd and how quick it would be. I never owned a honda before, but i have owned imports. LMK what you guys think

 

good car to start out with... but please...........TAKE OFF YOUR PIC TO BEGIN WITH... peeing on riceburners aint kool man...LOL... sounds like a pretty nice build. fast or not, thats up to the beholder. ((test it out man)).. from what you said he only rebuild the head.. i say its prob. a good DD..

 

should be a good setup for about 180whp, just make sure whoever installed everything knew what they were doing and its not about to fall apart

 

well i didnt know anythiing about the internals at the time, but i went an drove it today, and i talked to him about it. The car has Carrillo rods, Ross forged pistons, the head has been shaved .020. and has Toda Spec C vtec killer camshafts in it. the car definitely has got to have more than 180 cuz that just gets down, prolly the fastest honda i have ever driven.
