After Market Clutch Kit discussion//A.C.T//Clutch Masters
What are your views on the Clutch Masters clutch kit and the A.C.T clutch kit. Now im speaking specifically in terms of the Extreme pressure plate and 4 puck sprung combination. I'd like to hear from people who have experience with extreme pressure plates from A.C.T and also Clutch Masters. I've been hearing that the pressure plates from Clutch Masters are a bit harder to engage and disengage opposed to the ACT. There is a slight difference in price so if these issues are true, then I would consider spending a bit more for the ACT. I know the real differences will be in the pressure plates. I'll read up on their websites, but real life experience is better than what marketing says about their product.

Not exactly what you were asking, but maybe it will help run an A.C.T 4 puck unsprung disc with extreme pressure plate in every car I own, I LOVE that setup, I've also had clutchmasters setups too and the pedal pressure is always stiffer, and I don't know about you but I like my clutch as light as it can be, A.C.T gets my vote..

I run an ACT Maxx Xtreme pressure plate with metallic 6 puck unsprung... Takes some getting used to, but its awesome!!!

not exactly on your level but i have a clutch master stage lll carbon kelvar segmented disc and its great. the pedal pressure is almost near if not stock. this kit is mated to a fidanza 8.5 lbs flywheel. this setup really grabs and gets you going.
i currently have a clutch masters stage 4 6 puck un sprung in my hatch, it has been attatched to that block for over 2 years. it works great for what i do with it and it holds the power well. it only took about a day to get use to it and its cake from there on out. this is my first CM tho. i have always run ACTs in my cars, there is a downfall to ACT tho, there pressure plates are usually SO strong that they rock trannys to death, especially in under powered cars and from people power shifting the crap out of them.
i have also used clutchnet before and they are a piece of crap with bad customer service.
on a side note: i have had 3 bad pressure plates from ACT, by that i mean, the pressure plate was assembled wrong and WOULD NOT disengage, it was an assembly issue and they sent me new ones
