Lets Talk LSD's
Diffs that is.
I have a couple of questions. What kind of LSD do you run? Who installs them and how much? Also i have heard great things about OBX's ( yeah i know OBX right , but i haven't heard anything bad about them) Also i can get a obx for like 400 shipped. And , i have a , i think its a delsol b16 tranny or JDM EG sir non LSD ( same code ) withch LSD would i go with ? I see the cars listed are for like 99-00 b16 , 90-01 teggy etc.? are they all the same and does it not matter witch i get? |
I run a Quaife and I install them $150 with you suppling bearings.
The GSR's and B16's are the same (I believe - Ask Neal) |
OBX is Ok as long as you re TQ all the bolts, or better yet replace all the bolts with better grade bolts(they use low grade bolts). The design is the EXACT same as the high dollar Quaife, OBX only uses cheaper parts, but again they are the same in every way. and yes the B16 and the GSR have the same part number, the LS is the diff one..

Damn, Do I know my shit or what!!!
Also, Quiafe has a lifetime warrenty which pays off when your buying the second OBX ;) |

99-00 B16, DEL SOL DOHC, 90-2000 LS, and 92-93 Gsr are the same
94-00 gsr, and 98-01 ITR are the same, but you can make an ITR diff work in a B16 tranny, it just takes a little effort |

Just do as Blown99CivicSi said, and retorque the bolts or replace them... There are a couple cars knocking on single digits with the OBX, and I believe 2 or 3 cars already in the 9s on them... Oh yeah, as with the Quaife, the OBX now carries a lifetime guarantee ;) |
P.S. If you know the right people, you can get them for just over $300 shipped ;)
I will probably be getting one soon to do some "testing" :evil4: |
