Default EX FRONT HUBS CRX HF> > Question . .

First I need to find the front whole suspension off a 88-91 civic ex. If anyone knows where to look let me know. (I need the whole knuckle assembly etc..)

Also before I swap in a bseries. I need to know if I can use my hf tranny which is a 91? Are the splines going to be the same size? If not I have a perfect 91 crx si tranny to use just in case it doesn't fit. What I really wanted to do is go ahead and swap over to the larger front disk, ex hub assembly on the crx hf, that way when I go to do the bseries swap I will have the front hubs done already.

So basically can I use the ex front hubs on the crx before I swap in the b motor into the crx, in the meantime use the crx tranny? This is a 91 crx hf.

ttt. this isn't the only fourm ive posted in. Noone from hondaswap knows either It sounds like it would work. Because what ever axles you use needs to match the transmission splines and hubs. It would all be d series. So iam thinking yes. And since the ex,dx and si on the 88-91 hubs do not need to be replaced when swaping in a b series I would be ok other then replacing the axles to fit the b series tranny. Does this sound right?

I was thinking of doing this way before I do the swap so I don't have to do this all at one time. Only because iam going to have one day to put this motor in which would be plenty of time for a experinced swapper. Less to worry about having to change.

HF spines with a si tranny hf or dx tranny.... they will all work just use the correct axle ..you could use 92 up hubs as well on your crx once you do your swap, doesnt have to be 88-91
