I need to know if parts from the same make years of an ef hatch (88-91) will fit an ef 4 door (88-91).

My younger brother is learning to drive and got into his first accident . So i need to see if the bumper, head light, hood, and fenders are the same and will line up. If anyone knows please tell me. Thanks in advance guys.

 

88-89 fit 90-91 fit

however I used a 90-91 Si bumper on my 88 Crx (88fenders,headlights,corners etc.) and it worked fine

to make it easier stick to 88-89 , 90-91 civics

 

yes front bumpers are the same it is the holes,headlights brackets and markers that r different.

 

you need to get the headlights, corner lights, and fenders from an 88-89, or 90-91, because 88-89 corner lights have two screws on the side that screw on to the fender, while 90-91 have screws that screw on to the headlight frame. Also, 88-91 hoods are the same, but I remember that I got a hood for my car and I had to change the hood hinge to the one from my old hood because I closed it and the safety lock wouldn't let the hood open.

 

BTW I have a pair of 89 headlights and corner light if you need them.

no you can use 88-89 on 90-91 or 90-91 on 88-89 you just have to have the all you named the hood will stillbe the same but you can put 88 89 fenders/headlights/marker lights on a 90-91

to answer your ? right. No a hatch and 4 dr front ends are different no matter what year you have.

A 4 dr has a longer front end the fenders are diffenent, corner lights are different hood is dif etc.
