obd1 obd2

Default obd1 obd2

my sister has a 97 civic ex vtec. she blew her motor up and now we are putting in a vtec del sol motor in both motors are d series how do i make the obd2 distributer work on the obd1 motor ????

just use your 97 harness, dist, injectors, and alt. i'm not 100% i don't know d-series but that should work.

the bolts for the distributer are different and the obd1 distributer is a two wire and the obd 2 distributer is a three wire is there a way to rewire the obd 1 to work???

he's some local scumbag GREAT QUALITY AND PRICE. you'll also need a P28 ecu. people think they're gold for some reason though...TR price ~$125. junkyard price ~$40

why don't you use the obd2 dist? can't you just drill out the holes bigger if need be?

that'll look like shit and you may loose the ability to adjust timing....thats the way it goes with a z6 in an ef at least.
