99' hx harness to 97' DX plug
 

Does anyone know how to configure a 99 hx harness from the motor to the 97 DX plug on the ECU??

pm 60-1ek he can either pin it all out for you, or something but isnt it going from vtec to non vtec???

you should just be able to not plug in the vtec components and be fine, they are both OBDII

I tried that and it would just keep cranking. I took the HX harness that was cut at the firewall from the motor, and took the DX harness and cut that from the ecu, I spliced all the wires and connected each one that looked Identical. It started, but wouldnt idle or rev past 2k. and thats all I got.
