Default Blow Piston Rings Club

I pulled #2 and #3 spark plugs out of my h23 prelude today and was rather suprised to see oil on them. I am not seeing a lot of smoke from the engine, or the exhaust and im not loosing oil from when i change it. I'm 2500 miles away from hitting the 200,000 mile mark and am concerned if my engine is going to make it. Basically i want to know if its worth trying to save this engine by replacing possibly damaged piston rings, when its probably new h22 time. thanx.

You will probably be better off having some one rebuild your motor for you....

New seals, bearings, pumps, belts etc...
Oversized pistons & new rings etc...

are you sure your valve cover seals arent the bad it wil cause oil to go in the hole were the wire conects to the sparkplug and when you pull the plug the oil will run down and make it look like you have oil on the plug just something to check its happened alot and you said it is not smoking or burning oil

I'd check the vc seals as well. Just pull the valve cover, pull the vc seals clean off any/all oil, you can add some honda bond and reassemble. If that doesn't fix your problem and you are in need of a rebuild I'd opt for an h22 swap. You can use your transmission if you are on a budget and pickup an h22 longblock for around a grand.
