Default more vtec questions

hey guys. i got a y8 vtec head and i have all i need for it, except the p28 ecu. i was wandering if i could use a vtec controller instead of this?

Yes, I have heard of people rigging vtec activation via a vafc.
It is not recommended.

my vtec is activated by a vafc works like a champ.

now the ghetto way is when people hook it up to a switch or a rpm activation switch for tach lights.

running off a vafc is fine no probs yet here
