Default Running Lean???

i have a 91 DA obd0

use to have a intermittent problem with the fuel where the ECU would throw code 43 which is Fuel system supply malfunction and the car would start running really lean.

well now that i have put in my new engine it is doing this constantly and i havent been able to figure out what it is causing it and its most definatly robbing power.

ive just installed a new wablro 255 pump so i have elimnated it being the fuel pump because it is still doing it.

Let me know if you have any ideas or have had this prob.

this has been covered a few times on here, it does it mostly on OBD 0 cars, and the funny thing is 9 times out of 10 it is your o2 sensor, it wont throw an o2 code but it is reading an altered fuel supply in the exhaust content, change your o2 and i bet it stops, it has nothing to with the pump, regulator or filter

im gonna drive it a bit more and hook my a/f gauge back up that was the easyest way to see if it was running lean.

question if i run a second o2 for the a/f gauge do i just hook the gauge right to the o2 or does the o2 need some type of 12v source also.

thx
