Default electrical problem?

well as some of you know, i got my car in a water ditch from the storm. upon checking it out tonite i noticed that the car isnt hydrolocked. so i hooked up my new ecu and it wouldnt crank over. so i took out the spark plugs and checked for water exiting when starting it. no water at all. im assuming its a electrical problem. i need my car back on the road ASAP because i moved out.. anyone have any ideas? tia

when you say it wouldn't crank over do you mean the engine wouldn't turn at all or it turns but wont fire? if it doesn't even turn then do you have power elsewhere, radio? headlights? etc. if you have power elsewhere but the starter won't engage then check starter fuses, if no power anywhere, main fuse. if engine turns but won't fire then check the dizzy for water/moisture, and the ecu fuse. lmk what happens and I'll try to help from there.
