Default o2 question

I have a eg with the o2 sensor in the top half of the exhaust manifold
I got a dc header with the o2 bung in the lower half of the manifold right before the cat.

can i simply cut my o2 wires, make them longer and just hook up my o2 sensor in the bung wich is lower?

will it mess up my air ratio or throw a CEL?

or should i be ok?

thanx!

should be fine, i would just cover any bare wire with lots of electrical tape to keep it safe from moisture.

It'll work. You shouldn't have any problems.

It will work with no problems as long as you do it right and not leave any wires open.
