VTEC Controller Question
I read somewhere, might have been here, that it's not good to use a VTEC controller. If VTEC is put lower than the ECU's crossover point then VTEC will engage but the fuel map will still be set up for pre-VTEC mode. So if this is true then VTEC will hit but then the car will go lean because it will not be getting enough fuel right? Any help would be great.
Thanks, Frankie.
Thanks, Frankie.

only if you use a vtec controller that has no sort of fuel rasing option, like the cheap ass APC unit, but the vafc. safc, fields boxer, and such all let you change the crossover point while adding fuel to compensate, and since you have control of the MAP sensor as well, then its all gravy...........makes you wonder why the spoon sports model is just a knob and a light though HUH????
