speed sensor bad?

Default speed sensor bad?

ok while driving along my speedometer goes crazy back and forth up and down like says 130 at 20mph....and 0 sometimes. any ideas?

yes it is the speed sensor..replace it and it should be fine

i have a spare speedometer sensor for that year civic if u want it. ill give it to u for $5 if u want. i live in dunedin-727 742 4821

ok i switched it with another sensor and it still does it, it works half the time not others.....mabye 2 bad sensors or soemthing in the tranny? how exactly does the b series honda sensor work? like could i be low on tranny oil or something or would that not have anything to do with it? sometimes if i take a sharp turn quick it works for a few then stops... any ideas would be great

it was a bad connection, corrosion in there from radiator fluid, so just had to scrape it out.
