Default 88-91 CRX/Civic Intake manifold question

I got a friend of mine who just put in a D16a6 in his 91 Civic STD. Hes got pretty much eveything in and ready to go, except for this "thing" that goes on the back of the intake manifold. We dont know what goes in this spot. All we know is that a thick black hose that runs from the brake booster to this spot on the intake... so we know it has something to do with the vacume. If anyone knows what goes in the spot in the picture above, please let me know. Where could I get this "mystery peice" at? Thanks for the help, it is greatly appereceated.

P.S. I am talking about the 3 holes in the pic. Looks kinda like this---> o0o

Wow, that sucks.

Are any of the holes threaded or anything?

You could always do like the domestic guys do and start plugging things in until it works right. Or you could see what fits...

Why didn't you read the directions?

I guess we could try plugging it up... it looks pretty important, I mean a thick black hose that runs from the brake boster runs to this spot on the intake. I think it is a 90 intake, but not sure...

Maybe just a check spot for the booster? I dont know plug that shit and youll see when you go to stop, just make sure you have a working E brake just in case.... -Ben

there is suppose to be a sensor there that Ive yet to ever use,it should be threaded,if its not then you can get some honda bond & a bolt & plug it up..
I have a 90 intake mani w/ that sensor still on it if u need it let me know..
