ive read about this and heard of good results,but dont quite get it,can someone please further explain how to go about doing this...

Bad idea. Makes the ECU think all sorts of retarded shit. Get it tuned on a dyno. It threw the Baro sensor code on my ecu making me think it had gone bad. The car acted funky as hell sometimes, and ran like a bat outa hell other times... very inconsistant.
