D-series right? then why camS? haha

anyways.. youre lookign at about 250hp to the wheels with a decent build and good turbo. all motor, you wont get too far. the most youll see out of a B series all motor is usually no more than 230whp. D series are even less. but i say, go for it! if thats what you want, then by all means and F the nay-sayers. single cam turbo's are fun cars to drive, do well at the track and USUALLY stay together if built by someone who knows their shit.

Gimme a call at XAT and lets talk options. ive built quite a few high hp honda motors and did all the motor building for secret services up untill a few months ago. i built the motor thats in john's project civic, the motor in the 4 door integra he sold to slash and handful of others. im sure, we can come up with a good solution to your problem. Ask alpha, im in the middle of his B16 buildup as we speak!

I think he's right when he said some people shouldn't talk shit. Try helping someone before you diss on them.
Ok, first of all i WAS trying to help the kid, hence my asking why the hell he would want to do this. Second, he made claims that i believed were false, so i asked him to give me some sources proving that what he said was fact, he said this:

fyi, ok pistons and rods rings etc. bottom end are going to cost about 11-12 hundred installed. cams and valve springs are going to be about 500 afterits all said and done. upgraded clutch probibally 250, upgraded axels about 300. ignition, intake manifold, cai, header, and full cat-back exhaust i already have. therefor for me it would be cheaper and faster to go built d-series.
im not trying to argue what is better im just wanting to know if any one out there has done a d-series build and has any sugestions on what brand pistons, rods, and cam i should get.
Now, most of what he said is WRONG, which confirmed my suspicions and proved that what he said applied to himself more than me, to whom i assume it was directed.

Now, my question to you, why the fuck are you bitching at me when i have done nothing to you, or anyone really. I think you should really take some time to think before attempting to start shit with people, in other words, pick your battles buddy, this was far from your fight, let alone a fight at all.

The motor that taylor built that resides in my car accidently saw upwards of 11K-12K RPM due to an accidental shift as I was driving frantically to a hospital.... It held tougether thank god and I made it in time before I was in terrible condition...

I would and still do trust my life in taylors motor building skills
