Default Carbon Fiber hoods?

I've got a 99 civic, and im looking for a carbon fiber hood, but im not sure where to find one around here. I dont want one with a steel skeleton, i've herd they are just as heavy as as a stock hood. Quality on a budget....about $450. Thanx in advace, John.

local is usually going to cost more than going with a mailorder company, VIS makes them, Fiber Images, etc....just search.

You have a good point, Keith. Its more for looks, but why buy a carbon hood if its just as heavy as a stock one? And don't worry.....performance mods are coming very soon.
