I'd also do some custom stuff like a fuel cut off switch that is hidden or remote ecu fuse, stuff like that. If a thief wants a car bad enough all they have to do is tow though.

I had the alarm on my teg put together by all DEI (viper) ACDELCO products. It definately deterred any thiefs as far as break-ins go. However, it still got stolen. I'm assuming a tow truck but I do not know the actual tactics.

I had a keyless entry system, 2 batteries, 2 horns, kill switch, extra shock sensors, and tilt sensors.

If you want a reliable system that list will geterdone. Just be careful where you park b/c its not full proof. (obviously since my car got stolen)

and DO NOT go to Buzz off. I had it originally installed there, but they are assholes- especially the owner (nsx driver) I am supposed to get my deductable for insurance payed by Viper if my car is stolen. The Buzz Off guy showed no sympathy and told me that he'd give me a discount on another alarm from him damn dick tard.

Anyhoo, Circuit City is the national distributor for all Viper or (DEI) products so you might want to talk to them about putting something together for ya.

Sorry I wrote so much, but I hope it helps you out

Alarms are worthless.. i use to install for circuit city and Sound Advice. if i wanted your car i would just uninstall your alarm... all an alarm is going to do is deterr stupid thieves that are just out to take your radio or whatnot.. if they want your car you can better believe they know how to bypass alarms... also if you do get one get a clifford dont get dei... the ignition bypass on dei is an always off circuit then when the alarm is activated the brain sends a pulse to the circuit and opens it so it wont start. so all you have to do is unplug the dei alarm brain and the car starts.. as with clifford its the opposite.. if you unplug the alarm the car wont start so the thief has to find the circuit and reroute it. hope this helps... but like i said an alarm will only stop the idiots out to make a quick buck.. not the real theives

I read somewhere that it would be neat if u had air struts and when ur alarm detected like pressure from under the car, it would lose pressure and drop the car really low so they couldnt tow truck it. Is this possible guys, but it wont make sense to buy air struts as a parto of a alarm system.
