ok here is the update....the new bottom end is great and the head is great both have been taken to the shop on some light work has been done to both top and bottom end milling balencing yada,yada....slaped it all together and drove it home and well the new head gasket has a defect somwhere and is blowing water into one of the cylenders..... not a happy camper here....at this point Im going to retern the head gasket pop in another one and possibly sel the car I have alot into it time wise and the mid stage for a NICE car but I am getting agrivated with it...I dont know if I want keep it or sell it the head gasket is a 30 min job no biggie..but what do you guy's and girl's think.....

let me know your opinion not basing my distion on what to do with the car based on the responces but I would like just to here what you would do if you where in the same situation, shit and giggle's Oya and keep in mind this is engine#3 for this car

c'mon art...nothing good will come from something that goes together easily. just replace the gasket, at least it's minor. i'll even come over and help.

or i'll sell you my d15 1.5L that runs smooth and has no grinds in the tranny. has a few oil leaks but nothing major.

 

ya I know but I have had such a hard time with this car Im beging to think the honda gods arnt happy with my selection of this particular crx LOL I am just agrivated I have this realy nice bottom end all ablenced and clean and a worked head and a leaky head gasket....(looking oup to the sky)honda gods shed some light on my crx and let it just run...
and i just might take you up on that offer on the head gasket LOL I hate working alon.....or i'll just take it to sonics and we can change it there LOL Im sure they would love thatLOL

just sell it and get a new car, u've had so many problems with this crix. i sold mine after the 4th time it wouldn't run.

 

art i'm in. i have some experience after rebuilding my own engine. i don't know all but i think i would be good at assisting you.

but i'm thinking the sonic's is prob a fun but bad idea at the same time.

 

well gasket swaps are cake 30min and your done Im just feed up with touching the car...even tho I know i will be working on it tonight.....Owell Im just pissed I have rebuild 3 engines for this car and no matter what this car just dosnt like me....I have never had this much of a problem with any car I have had,EVER!!! and I have had close up to 20 cars LOL Iv rebuilt them all some from the ground up and other's just for fun....ARGGG damn CRX!!!!

Are you sure you put your intake manifold gasket on the right way? The gasket can be put on in either direction, one way the water port is sealed the other it is not.
Are you running hot? did you do a comp checkper cyl to determine if you have a loss via the gasket or are your seeing water from another direction. Just a thought

 

well I know the intake gasket is cool and nope no over heat the pipe is shooting white smoke and that is called a sign from the honda gods LOL but ya the impefection is probibly just a minor one....Im just pissed i have to pull the head once more....
IM TIRED OF YANKING MY HEAD!!!!LOL Oya and befor anyone eles ask's yes the head gasket is correct all the problem is,is there is a minor imperfection in the head gasket that is all....and stuffs

ok I have my new head gasket on its way I basicaly have to much compretion for a stock head gasket at this point LOL its around 240ish LOL but hey Im a crazzy mofo.....so that is the jist at this ponit now you all can post up the WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU RUNNING THAT MUCH FOR??? LOL
