Default Block guard or no block guard?

That is the question. While my funds have been depleted via other sources of interest, my built block plan will not be done by March. I however, will have my car back on the road by January with some new goodies. The question is, should I install a block guard? I mean, I know it is just a band-aid to cover the wound that I am submitting to my block. I just wanted to know others opinion.

They do help support the sleeves from FI or high compression, but only to a point. Better sleeves whould be a better option. But since your funds are depleted this whould be your only cost-effective reinforcement that you could get being low on funds...
