Good ides or no?
 

right now my head is stock (91 ls motor). i know that the 94+ cams are more aggressive and can provide more power. While adding those i was planning on having someone advance the timing just a bit. is this a not so good idea? if its ok to do, is the power difference noticable?

Useless mod to swap heads. Go with some Crower cams.

Ignition timing can be tricky, there wont be much of a difference. 3-8whp?

b18a1 abd b18b1 is the same shit. only thing changed was the intake manifold and the cams. theres 10 hp difference. im not looking to spend money on this head im building ls-vtec but in the mean time i want some more cheap HP.

the gains would be minimal, maybe 3-4whp if your lucky

maybe if u changed cams/intake mani and the ECU u might get 10hp but with just changin cams/mani WONT DO SHIT

i think some of the pwer also come from larger intake ports on the b18b head but i might be mistaken on that one
