5 speed conversion question?????????????????????

I was just wondering what the potential problem would be to running an automatic ECU in a manual car? I am converting my EG to a 5-speed and I figured if it doesn't screw it up, I will just leave the auto ECU in for now. Thanks.

im pretty sure it just down right wont run.

you should be able to drive on the auto ecu...

Yes it will run...My boy has a 94 civic sedan with a 5 speed ls in it....He is still running the automatic ecu...

I think you can convert the auto. ecu into manual by soldering some stuffs onto it. I came across an article somewhere but I couldn't recall where it's from.
