People tell me that most of the vtec preludes have oil leaks.I have had an oil leak for the past 6 months I keep on gettin them fixed but they keep on coming back in different areas except this time I think its the head gasket does anyone know the best place to get an oil leak fixed because Im getting really tired of smelling burning oil in my car and does anyone know if this is common in the 4th gen preludes also its leaking on the bottom part top right on the head im not really sure if its the head gasket because I never see any water in the oil or coolent in the exhaust but im not really sure im really tired of wasting money already spent about 1500 dollars trying to get these fixed and I could take a picture if anyone is willing to help me out.

 

it could be a million things, take a pic and post it...and no, no motor should leak oil if built properly...if it is the head gasket the compression would most likely be low, have you checked the compression at all? what I do to find a ghost leak is get some brakleen and clean the oil from where it is currently...then take babypowder and put it on a towel and pat down the area...then go for a drive, it will be very clear where the oil is coming from now...when you find out let me know and I will help you fix it or do it for you...
