Default axle fell out two times?????

hey all i changed my passenger side cv axle last night cause i needed a new one, when i got done i made it like about a mile and it worked its way out of the tranny? i towed it home, put it back in and then 20 minutes later did it again.

1. the axle is from carquest

2. i think the guy gave me a drivers side.

3. i never compared the old and new one.

4. ye it is a B series swap

5. it sucked really bad

Does it have the retaining clip on it? What year are the axles and intermediate shaft, tranny, car, ect?

Good idea to always compare new/old parts before swapping.
Glad you got it taken care of.
One a side note, I'd be wary of any of the axles floating around our local autoparts shops (ie: Discount, Napa, etc.). I've had very bad experiences with all of them failing (less than a week of use) and have since then stuck with stock. Pricier yes, but at least it's not a poorly done rebuild.
